Historic Sites of Manitoba: Rathwell Presbyterian Church / Calvin United Church / Iglesia Ni Cristo (Rathwell, Municipality of Norfolk Treherne)

A former Presbyterian church at Rathwell, in the Municipality of Norfolk Treherne, was built in 1895 with the first service on 29 December 1895 conducted by George Bryce. In 1925, its congregation united with that of Indianford Presbyterian Church. Amalgamation with Treherne United Church occurred in 1965. After the church closed, the building was acquired by the Iglesia Ni Cristo in 2016. Renovations were completed in 2018 and the chapel opened in October.

Among the clerics of Rathwell Presbyterian Church was Hugh Hamilton (1902-1906).
