Historic Sites of Manitoba: Virden Gas Works Building / Bridgett Building (250 Nelson Street West, Virden)
This brick building on Nelson Street West in Virden was constructed around 1895. Originally a single floor, it housed the local gas works. In 1898, the building was purchased by hardware merchant William A. Bridgett, who added a second floor and renovated it into a retail hardware store.
