Known originally as the Avilon School District when it was organized formally in February 1913, at some time it was renamed Bield School District. The school operated in Bield in what is now the Municipality of Roblin. In August 1913, it became Bield Consolidated School. The school closed in June 1967 and the building is no longer present at the site. A metal monument at the site, topped by the school bell, commemorates it.
