Historic Sites of Manitoba: Albright Memorial Church / Lady of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church (478 McKenzie Street, Winnipeg)

The Albright Memorial Church on McKenzie Street in Winnipeg commemorated Jacob Albright (1759-1808), founder of the Evangelical Church in Pennsylvania. Its basement was constructed in 1930 and services were held here until the sanctuary could be completed and dedicated on 1 November 1936. An education wing was added at the rear of the church in 1978. Sold in 1990, the building became the Lady of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church.
