Donald Arthur Schmidt

Educator.

He lived in St. Vital and Fort Garry while working for the Winnipeg School Division, as Principal of St. Joseph’s Vocational School (1950-1953) and a teacher at Isbister School (1953-1955), Sisler High School (1959-1960), and Grant Park High School (1960-1966). By 1968, he and his wife Merceda had moved to Yorkton, Saskatchewan. They later moved to Calgary, Alberta.
