David Malaher

Engineer, historian.

Son of Gerald William Malaher and Margret Millicent Wade (1907-1986), grandson of Henry Gerald Wade and husband of Rosemary Malaher, he has published a number of articles on the history of the Canada/US boundary from diplomatic and technological viewpoints. David is a member of the Centre for Rupert’s Land Studies of the University of Winnipeg and represents the Centre on the David Thompson Bicentennial Committee. He served as Chair of the Board of Governors for the University of Manitoba (1988-1991).
