The Canadian Pacific Railway Curling Club was founded in 1894 by employees of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The club had two sheets in an old ice house off Higgins Avenue in Winnipeg. In 1920, the club affiliated with the Manitoba Curling Association. The club rented ice until 1938 when they acquired the five-sheet rink at 948 William Avenue from the Caledonian Curling Club. In 1950, the club renamed itself the Victoria Curling Club.

The club operated for 95 years and ceased operations after the 2013-2014 curling season.
