Duncan McVicar was a brick maker in the Brandon area in the early 1880s. He was listed as one of only two brick manufacturers in the Brandon directory; however, he produced brick in both Brandon and Carberry during this time. One photograph exists of the McVicar Yard. It was considered to be the largest manufacturing yard in the area at the time.
