(The 2nd COVID19 Year)

COVID-19 changed our lives in many ways, but we were the lucky ones.  We were already working from home, and we were OK with staying in Manitoba and enjoying the things we have right here on our doorstep. It just so happened that we had dedicated the 2019 year to local travel and had documented that story in Virtual Manitoba. So it was natural to continue the process.



Yes there is still plenty to see in Manitoba!

This school is the Rosehill District south of MacGregor, and although locally known as Rosehill it is registered as "Chipping Hills School" because the name Rose Hill was already taken by a school SE of Baldur.

Wakopa - a support for an Interpretive Sign that is in development.



The cairn commemorating David Thompson who travelled in the area in 1797. The cliff at Wawanesa slumped in the 50's sinking a street, leaving the cairn still standing but many metres below street level.
