Council for a short time. Book store manager. Mayor 1898 - 1900. School

Biography: Born 1852Ayr. ON. Married Jeanie Clark. Died 1930
Claims: Councillor for North Cypress. Acquainted with Earnet
Thompson Seton. Scenes from the 1974 CBC documentary filmed on Graham
farm and they used the farm’s original walking plow.

First Mayor of Carberry – 1890. President of the Manitoba and
Saskatchewan Lumbermens Association, and a member of the Ancient Order
of United Workmen, Masons (Scottish Rite), and Anglican Church.

Claims: Homesteaded 1881. Secretary Treasurer of R.M. of North
Cypress on formation 1912 – 1925. He attended the 1905 founding meeting
in Brandon of the Union of Manitoba Municipalities.
