Biography: Born July 1, 1856 in Leeds Co. ON. Married Janet Hume
in 1888. Died Dec. 29, 1926.
Claims: 1878. Farmer. General Store with his brother, J.H. Lyons.. Move
to Carberry exporter of grain, dealer in horses. He and Walter Wise
purchased the first commercial lots in the new town of Carberry and
built a store. Lyons Elevator, 1895. Lyons Hall. Member of Legislature
1892. Elected four times.
