James William “Jim” Smith

Historian.

Son of James Gordon Smith, he serves as President and Historian/Archivist for the North East Winnipeg Historical Society, a Council Member for the Manitoba Historical Society, and Vice Chair for the Miles MacDonell Collegiate Alumni Association. In recognition of his community service, he received a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (2022).
