Gail Perry (BA, LLB) was born, raised, and resident in Winnipeg where she was a lawyer with the judicial, executive, and legislative branches of the provincial government. For over 20 years, she has led downtown terra cotta tours for the Winnipeg Architecture Foundation and wrote its Winnipeg Architecture: A Terra Cotta Tour (1996 republished in 2012 at http://www.winnipegarchitecture.ca/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/WAF_ATerraCottaTour.pdf). In 2020, she received the Lieutenant Governor's Award for Historical Preservation and Promotion in recognition of her community service.
