Rudolf Paul “Rudy” Friesen

Architect.

Born in Winnipeg in 1942, he received a baccalaureate degree in Architecture from the University of Manitoba. He worked as an architect at Stuttgart, West Germany for a year then, in February 1969, he became a project architect for Libling Michener and Associates. In 1976, he was a founding partner in the Winnipeg-based firm of ft3 Architecture Landscape Interior Design. In later years, he specialized in the design of elder-care facilities. He served as President of the Manitoba Association of Architects (1980-1981).
