Events in Manitoba History: MacFarlane Royal Commission on Education (1957-1959)

In July 1957, the Manitoba government formed a Royal Commision on Education to study all aspects of education in the province below the university level. The Commission submitted its report, along with recommendation for changes, in 1959. The following were its members:

Ronald Oliver MacFarlane, Chair

Joseph Henry Bruns

James Anthony Cuddy

Stefan Hansen

Hortense Grandbois Noble Wood
