Historic Sites of Manitoba: Wiggins Family Monument (Municipality of Prairie View)

A monument in the Municipality of Prairie View was erected in 1988 to commemorate the Wiggins family, who homesteaded at SW18-13-25W since 1882. In 1902, William John Wiggins (1881-1959) purchased the site of the monument from his grandmother and, with his wife Minnie Tate Ford (1889-1969), farmed here from 1913 to 1959.
