This museum is situated at Whitemouth in the Rural Municipality of Whitemouth. The Beeskau-Alpers house was originally built by the Brissom family in 1880 and situated on Hospital Street in Whitemouth. Two additions were added to the original structure before 1910. When the Alpers family decided to build a new house, they offered this old one to the museum, and it was moved on to the grounds in 1976. Also on the museum grounds is a commemorative monument for physician Charlotte Ross and the millstone from a flour mill built and operated by Fred Zinke. His mill burned in the 1930s and was not rebuilt.
