Historic Sites of Manitoba: North American Waterfowl Conservation Honour Roll (Oak Hammock Marsh, RM of Rockwood)

At the Oak Hammock Marsh Conservation Centre in the Rural Municipality of Rockwood, an honour roll established by Ducks Unlimited Canada commemorates people who have made unique and significant contributions to the success of the North American Waterfowl Management Plan in Canada. Signed in 1986, the plan is one of the most successful international conservation initiatives in the world. The partnership of governments, agencies, and individuals from Canada, United States, and Mexico commits to achieving better habitat for waterfowl throughout North America.
