This cottage on the Loni Beach area of Gimli, in the Rural Municipality of Gimli, predates 1912. It was constructed from a catalogue kit which may have been put together incorrectly, as the base plates are missing on the north and south sides. The cottage is a good representative example of the side-gable cottage type, is in good condition and boasts excellent integrity. The cottage also contains much early hand-made furniture. It has been owned for a long period by the Snidal family.
