This nine-hole golf course at Victoria Beach has operated continuously since its inception in 1924. Person-power and horsepower leveled the course of the boulders left by Lake Agassiz, and the first clubhouse was a single-storey log structure. The land developers, Victoria Beach Company, planned for the area to be more in the English village style, so golf and tennis were the preferred activities. The first tennis court was made around 1928.
