A wooden grain elevator in The Pas, on the CNR Flin Flon Subdivision, was built in 1947 by Federal Grain and sold to Manitoba Pool in 1972. An annex was built beside it in 1980. A new elevator was constructed on the outskirts of town in October 1994, and the older elevator was closed and demolished.
