Historic Sites of Manitoba: St. John’s Anglican Church / St. John’s Heritage Church and Arts Centre (86 McArthur Avenue, Lac du Bonnet)

This former Anglican church building in Lac du Bonnet was constructed in 1906. Now deconsecrated, the building is operated as a museum by the Lac du Bonnet and District Historical Society. The mandate of the St. John’s Heritage Church and Art Centre is to preserve the history of the town’s oldest intact building and create a community space for hosting community events and programs. The building became a municipally-designated heritage site on 25 July 2019.
