A concrete bridge across the Turtle River, at Ste. Rose du Lac in the Municipality of Ste. Rose, was built in 1921 by William Newman, using Plan No. 756, at a cost of $11,311. The road was the former Provincial Trunk Highway No. 5 before it was rerouted a mile to the south.
