A monument in the Rural Municipality of Rosedale marks the location of the former Springhill Church, built here in 1891. Initially used by a Methodist congregation, it became Springhill United Church in 1923 and operated until closing in June 1967. The grounds are used for a community hall built in the early 1980s.
