A monument in Snow Lake was erected in June 1997 by the Snow Lake Heritage Society for the 50th anniversary of the town’s founding in August 1947. A nearby monument commemorates the workers who died during mining operations in the area. A pole with signs, developed by the Snow Lake Mining Museum, shows the name, distance, and direction of every mine that produced ore within a 60-kilometre radius of the town.
