This monument in the Rural Municipality of Dauphin commemorates the family of Michael Slobodzian (1889-1968) who immigrated to Canada from the Borschiw area of western Ukraine in the early 1900s. His family farmed in the Sifton and Zoria districts and, in 1932, they moved to the Trembowla area. The monument was erected during a family reunion on 4-5 July 1992 by his two sons and ten daughters, 45 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, and 6 great, great-grandchildren.
