A 40,000-bushel wooden grain elevator at the siding of Silver Plains on the CNR Emerson Subdivision, in the Rural Municipality of Morris, was constructed in 1928 by Manitoba Pool Elevators for a local cooperative association. Annexes increased its storage capacity in 1951 and 1958. Closed in 1984, the elevator and its crib annex were moved to Ste. Agathe later that year. They were demolished in the early 2000s.
