Historic Sites of Manitoba: Siglunes School No. 1399 (Municipality of West Interlake)

The Siglunes School District was established in January 1907 and a one-room schoolhouse operated at the southeast corner of SW30-22-9W in what is now the Municipality of West Interlakec. In 1967, the district was dissolved and its catchment area became part of the Lakeshore School Division. The school closed in 1969.

Eggertson (September 1922 - December 1925), Ragna Sophia Johnson (January 1926 - December 1928), Sigrun H. Gudmunson (spring 1929), Vigdis Sigurdson (1929-1937) , Gudbjorg Bertha Danielson (1937-1938), Mae Baldwin (1938-1939), Dorothy E. Howatt (1939-1940), Cecilia Eggertson (1940-1943), Edna May Lee (1943-1944 & 1946-1947), Jarunn Audrey Johnson (1944-1945), ? (1945-1946 & 1947-1950), Murray A. Isleiefson (September-November 1950), Jean L. Strohman (December 1950 - June 1951), ? (1951-1954), Albert Hal Sveistrup (1954-1955), Ellen Maria Steinthorson (1955-1958), Vera Joan Johnson (1958-1961), David Gislason (1961-1962), Beverley Ann Mae Johnson (1962-1964), and Edith Mary Seal (1964-1969).
