Historic Sites of Manitoba: Shilo Memorial Cairn (CFB Shilo, Municipality of North Cypress-Langford)

A fieldstone cairn by the Warrant Officer’s and Sergeant’s Mess at Canadian Forces Base Shilo was unveiled on 15 November 1960 at a ceremony attended by Major-General H. A. Sparling. It commemorates the establishment of the headquarters Sergeant’s Mess of the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery.
