This unassuming wood frame building in Gimli recalls the town's early commercial life and is a rare reminder of its fishing heritage. Used by fisherman Dori Peterson to store fishing nets, the structure is in fairly good condition, retains its original form, and has a good degree of historical and architectural integrity. A garage door has been inserted into its west face.
