Historic Sites of Manitoba: O’Kelly Memorial (RM of Gimli)

A stone monument at Camp Morton in the Rural Municipality of Gimli was unveiled on 17 July 1927 at a ceremony attended by Major-General Huntley Douglas Brodie Ketchen, former Lieutenant Governor James Albert Manning Aikins, and Archbishop Alfred Arthur Sinnott. It commemorates Major Christopher Patrick O’Kelly VC MC.
