The New Kennedy School District was established in June 1911 and a one-room schoolhouse operated at SE32-3-1W in the Rural Municipality of Rhineland. The district was dissolved in 1965 and its area became part of the Rosenfeld Consolidated School District and later the Rhineland School Division.
