Historic Sites of Manitoba: Ogilvie Grain Elevator / Manitoba Pool Grain Elevator B / Private Grain Elevator (Napinka, Municipality of Brenda-Waskada)Link to: A 35,000-bushel wooden grain elevator at Napinka, on the CPR Estevan Subdivision in what is now the Municipality of Brenda-Waskada, is built around 1923 by the Ogilvie Milling Company. In 1959, it was taken over by Manitoba Pool Elevators to become Pool B. Being old, small, and slow at handling grain, the elevator was used mostly for storage of rye and oats. Pool A and Pool B were closed in July 1984 and sold for private grain storage. Used until 2000, the elevators have sat vacant since then. Agents / Buyers
