Historic Sites of Manitoba: Manitoba Pool Grain Elevator (South Railway Street, Morden)

A 40,000-bushel wooden grain elevator on South Railway Street at Morden, on the CPR La Riviere Subdivision, was constructed in 1948 for Manitoba Pool Elevators. Increased to 85,000 bushels in 1951, its capacity was increased to 177,000 bushels by the addition of a crib annex in 1977. Closed by Agricore in 2001, it was demolished in 2002.
