This monument was unveiled on 20 July 2008, by the Fire Hall in the village of Miniota, to commemorate the men and women who have served in the Volunteer Fire Department of the Rural Municipality of Miniota since its founding in 1883, including people who served on the Village of Miniota Fire Brigade from 1908 to 1962.
