This monument in front of an office for the Municipality of Prairie View, in Miniota, has a plaque presented to the Rural Municipality of Miniota in 1983 by the provincial government in recognition of 100 years of citizen participation in local government. Another plaque commemorates municipal Reeves and Councillors over the period from 1883 to 1983.
