Historic Sites of Manitoba: Meleb Service Station (Meleb, RM of Armstrong)

This building at Meleb in the Rural Municipality of Armstrong was formerly a service station which sold gas and provided minor repairs. Built in 1948 by Mr. Campbell of Teulon, two years later, the business was sold to Nick Kryzanowski and Anne (Penziwal). Ann pumped the gas while Nick worked for the Manitoba Telephone System. Orest and Helen Krasey bought the service station in 1968. It is now a private residence.
