Historic Sites of Manitoba: Meadow Portage Monument (Meadow Portage, Northern Manitoba)

A stone monument at Meadow Portage was erected by local residents in 2001 to commemorate aboriginal people, trappers, fur traders, and explorers who used a portage between Lake Manitoba and Lake Winnipegosis during the 18th and 19th centuries.
