John McKone (1859-?), the original owner of this two-storey brick house on Third Avenue in Neepawa, built it in 1900. It was later occupied by his daughter and son-in-law, Thomas Gerow Murphy. The building is listed as historically significant by the Town of Neepawa and the Neepawa Heritage Committee.
