A wooden grain elevator at Mather, on the CPR Napinka Subdivision in what is now the Municipality of Cartwright-Roblin, was built in 1926 by Manitoba Pool Elevators. An annex was built beside it in 1969. Renovated in 1971 and 1986, the elevator closed on 31 December 1996 and has since been removed from the site.
