Historic Sites of Manitoba: Lake of the Woods Grain Elevator / Ogilvie Grain Elevator / Manitoba Pool Grain Elevator B (MacGregor, Municipality of North Norfolk)

A 30,000-bushel wooden grain elevator at MacGregor, on the CPR Carberry Subdivision in what is now the Municipality of North Norfolk, was built in 1928 by Lake of the Woods Milling to replace an earlier 25,000-bushel elevator destroyed by fire. Sold to Ogilvie Flour Mills in 1954, it was re-sold to Manitoba Pool Elevators in 1959. Closed in 1973, it was later removed from the site.
