Historic Sites of Manitoba: Lorraine School No. 1898 (RM of Ste. Anne)

The Lorraine School District was organized formally in September 1917 and a one-room schoolhouse operated at SE21-7-8E in the Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne. The district was dissolved in 1967 and its catchment area became part of the Seine River School Division. The former schoolhouse was sold and was renovated into a private residence. It was destroyed by fire on 4 September 2018.
