This Ukrainian Catholic church, a municipally-designated historic site (2009) in the Rural Municipality of Riding Mountain West, was established soon after Ukrainian settlers arrived in this area, in 1904. Built under the leadership of priest A. Delaray, it is one of the oldest rural churches in the Lakedale area. A monument at the site, unveiled on 20 May 1979, commemorates the 75th anniversary of settlement here.
