A monument near the Lake Winnipeg Visitor Centre in Gimli, erected in 1985 by the Gimli Old Timers Association, consists of the bell and anchor from the steamboat Lady of the Lake that operated on Lake Winnipeg from 1898 to 1929. Gimli was its home port from 1919 to 1929.
