This fieldstone monument in the Rural Municipality of Dauphin, erected in 1967, commemorates pioneers who settled in this area between 1897 and 1906. Their names are listed on a plaque mounted on the side of the cairn. Land for the cairn was donated by Fred Bosiak and Martin Kushtra.
