The barn portion of this housebarn in Neubergthal, in the Municipality of Rhineland, was constructed east of the Red River, in the Mennonite East Reserve, by Peter Klippenstein. The family moved to Neubergthal in the late 1870s and brought the barn with them. The house portion was built here in 1910. Both were restored with the assistance of Parks Canada and are used as an event space.
