The building on South Railway Street in Boissevain was built in 1904 as a general store operated by George King (1878-1957). In 1938, the store joined the Red and White chain. It closed with King’s death in 1957 and, two years later, the Boissevain and Morton Library moved into the building. The library occupied the building until 2015 when it moved across the street.
