Historic Sites of Manitoba: Keeyask Memorial Cemetery (Northern Manitoba)

A cemetery in northern Manitoba, in an area burned by forest fire in 2013, was consecrated at a ceremony on 21 October 2015 to the memory of people whose remains were recovered and reinterred during the construction and operation of the nearby Keeyask Generating Station. It also commemorates 4,000-year-old human remains recovered on the south shore of Gull Lake in 2010.
