Historic Sites of Manitoba: Herchmer House (675 St. Claire Street, Birtle, Municipality of Prairie View)

The Herchmer House in Birtle, in the Municipality of Prairie View, was built in 1882, making it the oldest building in the town. Its first occupant was civil servant Lawrence W. Herchmer.
