Located at the southeast corner of Oak Avenue and Park Street in Grunthal in the Rural Municipality of Hanover, the Grunthal Collegiate Institute was built for the Hanover School Division and opened in 1961, replacing previous high school facilities at Goodwill Collegiate. It was renamed as Green Valley School for the Fall Term of 1971 and has since been expanded.
